This is an important element in the final year of compulsory education. Every child will go on work experience for five days the week before October half term. Preparation starts for this in the Spring term of Year 10.
It is our aim to help our students become more positive citizens, ready to face the realities of working life. From past experience our pupils have feedback that they have not only enjoyed their work experience but it has helped them in many other ways such as being clearer about what they want to do in the future.
A small contribution will be asked from parents to pay for risk assessments to be undertaken for their son’s/daughter’s work placement.
