This is a one year course available to students in Years 9 and 10

 

 

 

IMG_3130Whether a pupil is an experienced dancer or simply has a keen interest, this varied, energetic and sociable course is for them. It offers an excellent opportunity to enhance a pupil’s qualification port-folio through developing dance technique, choreography and performance skills.

Dance styles including; Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Street Styles and Ballroom and Latin.

Enrolment takes place in September: The latest cohort have got off to a flying start, making use of the Sixth Form dance studio.

This year (2015-16), for the first time, the on-going experience and achievements of the group will be shared in an online blog. You can find the blog here on the new BTEC Dance website http://padance.myfreesites.net/

Classes take place each Wednesday from 4.30pm to 7.00pm, in the Sixth Form dance studio. Cost of the BTEC course is £350, which can be paid in 3 termly instalments.
