Preparation and applications for Work Experience start in the Spring term
Year 11
Work Experience Takes place the week before the October half term.
Interview Skills All year 11 students will be interviewed in a group, individually and/or referred for specific advice
The purpose of this activity is to familiarise students with a more formal interview situation with someone they do not know.
Each student will be allocated a 20 minute slot, which is to be split into approximately a 15 minute interview and 5 minutes feedback. This usually takes place during December. The school strives to get an array of interviewers from different backgrounds such as the RAF, Police, Health & Social Care, Engineering, Marketing and general H.R. specialists. Students choose which one they would prefer to be interviewed by.
